Project Overview

Taqnia Technical Services delivered the Yamama Project for YAMAMA Cement Company to establish a fully equipped workshop and install the required industrial machines for maintenance activities. The project covered machine unloading, positioning, installation, leveling, electrical and utility connections, testing, commissioning, operator training, preventive maintenance training, and final handover to ensure the workshop was ready for safe and practical day-to-day use.

Client Objective

The client required a workshop that was properly set up, fully equipped, and operational to support internal maintenance activities. The main objectives were to establish a complete workshop environment, install the machines correctly, train operators, and hand over the workshop in a ready-to-use condition with stable machine performance.

Challenges During Execution

The project required careful coordination of site preparation, machine handling, utility connections, installation sequence, commissioning activities, operator training readiness, and overall timing. These factors demanded disciplined execution to ensure that the workshop was completed in an organized and reliable manner.

Implementation Approach

The work was executed in a structured sequence beginning with machine unloading, positioning, and leveling in accordance with the workshop layout. Electrical and utility hook-ups were completed, followed by systematic testing and commissioning for each machine. Operator training and preventive maintenance training were then conducted to support safe operation and long-term workshop readiness before final handover.
