Project Overview

Taqnia Technical Services delivered the Islamic University Kitchen Project in Al-Madina to prepare a complete kitchen facility for safe, stable, and full operational use before the start of the academic semester. The project covered the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance support of major kitchen equipment to ensure that the site was ready for day-to-day production and service.

Client Objective

The client required a fully operational kitchen with all equipment installed correctly, tested thoroughly, and handed over on time. The main objectives were to prepare the kitchen for full operation, ensure equipment readiness, improve operating efficiency, and complete the handover in a condition ready for immediate use.

Challenges During Execution

• Tight deadline to complete the project and hand over the site before the semester started.
• The site electrical supply did not match the equipment requirements, so transformers were arranged and integrated to make the system operate correctly.
• Difficulty moving a large rotary oven into the kitchen area, which was overcome using special handling and positioning techniques.

Implementation Approach

The work was executed in a structured sequence to avoid delays and maintain progress under a tight deadline. Equipment was positioned carefully according to the approved layout, utility connections were completed, and each unit was tested and commissioned to verify safe and reliable performance. Calibration and troubleshooting activities were carried out where required, followed by preventive maintenance checks and final handover preparation.
