Industrial machine retrofit and CNC modernization
Retrofit updates obsolete controls, drives, and electrical systems when the machine mechanics are still worth keeping in production.

When retrofit is the right project
Some machines stop being practical to maintain because the control, drives, or panel can no longer be supported, even though the mechanics still hold tolerance. TAQNIA provides industrial machine retrofit and CNC modernization for plants in Saudi Arabia, including obsolete controls, drive updates, electrical panel work, and PLC replacement.
A retrofit is a planned project with a cutover window. It is separate from a breakdown visit and from a spare-part swap. The machine, the installed control, and the programs that must be kept all shape the scope.
What the work can include
CNC control and drive modernization is handled as CNC retrofitting. Broader jobs, such as panel rebuilds, HMI updates, and automation retrofit on production or packaging equipment, sit with retrofitting and modernization. Both need a backup of parameters and programs before anything is removed.
- Obsolete CNC controller and drive upgrades
- PLC replacement and control panel rebuilds
- HMI and automation updates on existing machines
- A cutover plan with acceptance checks before handover
How to decide
If the mechanics are worn out, an overhaul or a component rebuild may be the better path. If the control is the constraint and the machine still produces good parts, start with the retrofit pages.
